Extremely quiet except for bird sounds as we are set back from the road. And sometimes the neighbors chickens or some wild turkeys. The cottage is the last building on the property, so it is very private and secure for your outdoor activities.

Over 10 acres to roam and explore. Or read a book under the big oak tree or picnic down by the creek.
Do expect to see deer, quail, wild turkey, hawks, owls, wood peckers etc.
And of course, fast Wifi and Smart streaming TV. Enjoy the outdoors in Summer under the trees or by the pool, plus there is A/C for any really sweltering day. In winter there is central heating.

Mariposa is the last real Central California town before Yosemite National Park's main west gate entrance via Highway 140. This is also best known as the all year round gate regardless of winter snow as it feeds straight into the valley floor without going over any 6000ft (2000m) peaks.
